Paul Wesley is a multi-award winning actor in the field of production, acting and directing. He is most famous for his role as Paul in The Vampire Diaries. His work on the series has garnered him several nominations, awards, and praises. They include The Teen Choice Awards and the "Young Hollywood Awards". Wesley is a native of New Brunswick in New Jersey. The school he attended was during his time in his native United States. He later enrolled in Rutgers University. After realizing that his talents as an actor can lead to a lucrative career, he decided to withdraw from Rutgers. His first TV appearance on American TV soap opera Another World. A few years later, he starred as the lead character in Wolf Lake, a television series that broadcast by the CBS network. It was the peak of his career by playing Stefan Salvatore in the American television show The Vampire Diaries. He also directed a few episodes from the show as well. He has acted in numerous well-known films since the release of his first film, The Last Run. Recently, he was featured as a character in Mothers and Daughters and The Late Bloomer and in support roles.
