Azita was born in Kabul, Afghanistan. Azita is an Afghan American who lives in the United States. Born in Kabul Afghanistan her family fled their home country to the US and received refugee status to remain. She is a middle-sister of two sisters and was brought up in Northern Virginia. Ghanizada started her career in TV by playing in a number of National Commercials. Ghanizada's performance as Chiara in Laura Neri 2004 film A Kiss on the Nose as Chiara was nominated for Best Actress in a festival. The actress was an actress in numerous TV shows, such as How I Met Your Mother Veronica Mars Wedding Bells Num3RS Bones Psych & Castle. In recent times, she was in a variety of independent comedies You Only Better and Blood Shot 2009. She also appeared in the action thriller of science fiction Blood Shot.
